Korea and Australia are ‘perfectly matching partners’: Ambassador Lee

Mr Baek-Soon Lee, Ambassador of Republic of Korea has said that Korea and Australia are ‘perfectly matching partners’ without any mutual conflict of interests in all areas.

He was addressing a luncheon at Ambassador’s residence with Ms Elly Lawson, First Assistant Secretary, North East Asia Division of Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and other employees on Friday,4 October, said a statement by Embassy of Korea.

Australia is home to approximately 180,000 Koreans and around 20,000 Korean students and working holiday visa holders respectively who are pursuing their dreams in the country.

Ambassador Lee wished that the diplomats from both friendly nations work together more closely as Korea-Australia bilateral relations have much potential to improve even further.
