Dr Theresa Lauf appointed new Polish Honorary Consul in Brisbane

Dr Theresa Lauf has been appointed as the new Polish Honorary Consul in Brisbane, who commenced her mission on 1 May 2019.

According to a statement of Polish embassy in Canberra, Dr Theresa Lauf is an Australian of Polish descent.

She completed a Bachelor of Laws at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). In 1997 she was admitted to practice as a Solicitor, she also has a PhD in Philosophy.

Dr Lauf held various professional roles, most recently including, inter alia, Director, Office of the Provost, Chancellery and Director, Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Division of Research and Commercialisation at QUT as well as Executive Officer at QUT Business School.

Experienced across law, business and higher education and with broad Polish community connections, Dr Theresa Lauf is perfectly positioned to represent Polish interests in Australia.
