Japanese Foreign Minister condole over wildfires damages

Foreign Minister of Japan Motegi Toshimitsu Monday expressed his deep sorrow over destruction caused by the wildfires in Australia.

In his condollence message to Foreign Minister Marise Payne released by the Embassy of Japan, Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu said, “I am writing to express my deepest sympathies to the Government and the people of Australia as I learned of the devastating damages caused by the wildfires in eastern Australia”.

He said Japan stands with Australia and its people at this difficult time.

Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu also send his prayers to the victims and sincerely hope for the earliest possible end of the wildfires and recovery from this disaster.
